| Frame Marquee hire Frame Marquees are freestanding structures using a metal frame to support the covering material, which is made of plain white fire retardant plastic. There are two different main types of frame; one style has the roof built on the ground with the plastic secured over the frame, it is then lifted up and the legs are put on. The second style has the framework built section by section at full height, the plastic is then pulled through the extrusion in the metal frame, and these particular structures are a good option if there are obstacles on site that need to be incorporated within the marquee. A frame marquee is often ideal where maximum space is a priority the marquee will still need to be secured down although smaller frames can be weighted rather then staked. Frames are also ideal when you are looking to join straight to a building to utilise existing areas, we can use connecting tunnels and walkways as an alternative. For functions on hard standing areas Frames are often more versatile. We also tend to use frames for catering tents as they create a more practical workspace as there are no internal poles. For smaller functions frames are a more practical option as they offer a bigger variety of sizes. The roofs of frames are generally lower then traditionals although the sidewalls are often taller.
